How long does it take to get approved for HomeWAV? ›

In most cases, your account will be reviewed within a 24-hour time period, and the review process typically doesn't take more than two days. When you open the HomeWAV app or log in, your loved one will receive a notification that you are available and they may start a video call with you.

Refund checks usually arrive within 4-6 weeks. The processing time to refund credit cards usually requires 2-5 business days but will vary depending on the cardholder's bank. The Refund Fee is not applied when a facility is decommissioned or when funds have never been used.

Now you can fund a calling account so you're always ready to receive their call, check account balances, schedule and join a video visit…message an inmate… and so much more.

Messaging. Besides voice and video calling, our kiosk and tablet software also allow for secure, monitored text, photo, image, and video messaging.

The facility has complete discretion on the use of the texting devices. You will not be able to text other inmates, victims and witness or any other person blocked by the facility. If the facility determines that your behavior is a problem they can terminate the use at any time.

Every prisoner is allowed one secure social video call per month.

After you've signed up and have logged into HomeWAV, you'll choose the detention facility and select the name of the person you want to video chat with. To do this, use the drop-down selectors and follow along with the instructions.

Why can't I accept collect calls? ›

Collect Call Restriction - Your local phone company may restrict collect calls. Call your local telephone company to have this restriction removed. Once this restriction is removed, it may take up to 72 hours for a collect call to go through.

When will my video visitation be approved? o Video visitations are typically approved within 24 hours.
